Cancel a subscription

Your Patina Project account is free to keep. Any charge you see comes from one of two separate subscriptions. You cancel each one in a different place, and you do not need to delete your account to stop either of them.

Which subscription do you have?

	Patina Project Supporter	Stitchdown Premium
What it is	A paid subscription inside the app	A membership with Stitchdown, our Thunderdome partner
Who bills you	Apple or Google, through your app store	Stitchdown, through Memberful
What you get	Extra tools and profile options in the app	Registration for selected Thunderdome contests

If you are not sure which one you have, check your bank or card statement. A Supporter charge shows as Apple or Google. A Stitchdown Premium charge shows as Stitchdown or Memberful.

Cancel Patina Project Supporter

Open the app and go to Settings.
Tap Cancel Supporter Subscription.
Your app store opens. Confirm the cancellation there.

You see this option only while your Supporter subscription is active. Apple and Google handle the billing, so you cancel with them, not with us. You keep your Supporter features until the end of the period you already paid for.

Cancel Stitchdown Premium

Cancel it on the Stitchdown subscriptions page.

Stitchdown bills this one directly, so we cannot cancel it for you. You can also reach that page from the app. Go to your profile, tap Edit profile, then tap Cancel my Stitchdown Premium or Thunderdome subscription.

Do I need to delete my account?

No. Canceling a subscription leaves your profile, your photos, and your collection in place. Keeping the account costs nothing.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. It removes your profile and leaves the subscription running, so you would lose the account and keep paying. Cancel first. See Delete your account if you still want the account gone afterward.
