Add basic leathers outside of tannery
This is very similar to a request below. For example, 'tan calf', 'chocolate suede' 'black pin grain'--many makers don't make the source of their house leathers known so just complaining a large list of colloquial names (perhaps through SDP) of leathers might make it easier to classify our footwear.

The Add New Spec features supports adding new basic leathers as needed.

This is great feedback! Next month we will focus on building a better experience around adding new specs. The ability to "fall back" to a generic leather is something we will explore.
