Swap or unregister a Thunderdome pair

If I register the wrong pair, I should be able to remove it myself. Right now I have to contact support. The pair page or the contest page should have an unregister option that asks me to confirm. It should work until the contest's first submission window closes. My pair and its photos stay on my profile.

Specify heel height

I think heel height would be a cool stat to have as well - e.g. with White's, there's an option to have the heels standard or 1/4" higher/lower, etc.

User drag and drop item sorting

I would like to be able to move around the order my items (only footwear in my case) are displayed in when I'm on the user Home/Profile page. I think being able to sort or arrange things by type of leather, color, texture, etc, would be useful. Thank you!

Email sign-in link opens app download page on Fairphone 6 running /e/OS

When I select Sign in with email in the Patina Project app, the sign-in email arrives successfully. However, tapping the link opens a browser page with an option to download the app instead of opening the installed app and completing sign-in. This blocks sign-in because I cannot use Google or Facebook sign-in. Environment Device: Fairphone 6 Operating system: Latest /e/OS by Murena Platform: Android-based

Add Gallun as a tannery

Gallun has enough leathers out there, and several brands have used them, seems like they could be added as a tannery.

HEIC files uploaded as JPEG are not recognized

App shows "Couldn’t confirm your membership" after Stitchdown sign-in

Some users return from Stitchdown sign-in but cannot continue registration. The app shows “Couldn’t confirm your membership” with “Sign in or join to try again.” When they try again, Stitchdown sign-in opens and returns to the app, but the membership check fails again. We’re investigating the issue.

Photos on profile fail to load after update

Some photos on the user profile are not viewable after the recent update. The update appears to have broken photo display on the profile page, preventing previously visible images from loading.

Pairs from an earlier Thunderdome can be registered in unworn categories

The app lets you register a pair that was already entered in an earlier Thunderdome into the 2026-27 Open, Work, or Leather Goods Dome. These Domes are for unworn pairs, so the pair shouldn't be offered in the Select item step, and registration should be refused. The Pre-Worn Dome should still accept these pairs.

Sizing won't save when registering a pair

When I register a pair, I get stuck on the sizing step. Tapping Submit Sizing does nothing, so I can't move on.

Could not restore purchase on my new phone.

I signed into the app after setting up my phone but was not able to restore my purchase for premium. I had to pay for another premium membership fee to get the features to work properly.

Unable to register for Open Dome

I tried several times to register for an Open, but none of my attempts succeeded. Pre-worn and leather goods worked as expected.

Restore Purchases not working

I am still subscribed. When I choose restore purchases it says it restored successfully. I then get a screen that says “Thank You for supporting us. Extra features unlocked.” When I go to a photo and choose “Set Photo as Cover” it immediately prompts me to join like it doesn’t recognize my membership at all. From that page I choose “Restore Purchases”. That’s when I get the action was successful followed by the Thank You page. It still will not allow me to choose a new photo cover. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, but I get the same results.

Submit multiple photos at once

The app only allows me to select one photo at a time (Android). It would be nice to have several related photos in one post.

Add basic leathers outside of tannery

This is very similar to a request below. For example, 'tan calf', 'chocolate suede' 'black pin grain'--many makers don't make the source of their house leathers known so just complaining a large list of colloquial names (perhaps through SDP) of leathers might make it easier to classify our footwear.

Click pic to open gallery, description to open spec

Right now clicking on the image doesn’t do anything whereas clicking the description takes you to the gallery. This is a bit unintuitive. I would expect clicking on the image takes you to the gallery and clicking on the description takes you to the spec.

Search & filter within collections

Bring the complete search and filter experience to within the Thunderdome or someone's collection. Currently, the filter experience differs between the entirety of Patina Project vs. searching within the Thunderdome or someone's collection. Searching and filtering should be consistent across the app to keep things simple.

"Also known as" for leathers

Some leathers are known by more than one name. This often occurs when makers rename the leathers used for their boots. Adding "Also known as " under renamed leathers will make it easier to find boots with the same leather.

Ability to see how many people have liked/saved your boots Would be cool to show how many "hearts" each boot has. maybe even make that a sortable value when browsing, so essential users could see the most saved/most liked boots
